you are riding a mountain bike or a road bike, rafting down whitewater or
canoeing quieter streams, we hope the articles in this newsletter will be of
value to you. Visit the Worldwide Bicycle

more.

life's too short not to get wet!

Spinning: Choosing the Best Program
for You |
Group indoor cycling is the brainchild of
Johnny Gthe wiry, energetic, spiritual leader of Mad Dogg Athletics' and
Schwinn's Spinning program. But other companies have quickly jumped into the
burgeoning market to satisfy cycling mania. Today, the Big Three include not
only the original Spinning, but also Studio Cycling by Reebok, and Power Pacing
by Keiser. Independent instructors have developed their own programs, and other
companies are also trying to break in. Don't be surprise if you see something
called Power Cycling, Precision Cycling, All Body Cycling, or Body Biking, on a
cycle built in Denmark that is breaking into the United States market.
Each of the Big Three approach indoor
cycling differently:

Adventure Cycling Association, 42,000
members strong, is America's premier nonprofit organization dedicated to
bicycle travel. For more than 30 years, Adventure Cycling has kept one goal
foremost in mind: to lead touring cyclists, from neophytes to saddle-savvy
veterans, all across North America's best roads for riding.
Among the highlights on Adventure Cycling's

through some of the American West's most enchanting landscapes. The adventure
begins September 3 in St. George, Utah, where the Colorado Plateau, Great
Basin, and Mojave Desert merge. Beyond the city, brilliant red-rock canyons and
ghostly sandstone formations of more subdued hues await around each new bend in
the road. Riders on Cycle Utah will snake through geologic wonderlands like
Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks.
Of Adventure Cycling's four tour styles,
Cycle Utah falls within the "Events" category, meaning you'll enjoy delicious
catered breakfasts and dinners, luggage transport, mechanical support, and
quality campsites (with optional motels available). A maximum of 130 riders

W.E.T. River Trips California
whitewater rafting with W.E.T. River Trips on the American River rafting since
1978. More information: 1-888-RAFTWET
www.raftwet.com |
Over the years, W.E.T. River Trips, a
premiere whitewater rafting company, has always maintained a small guest to
guide ratio in our whitewater boats making for a sportier ride! We continue to
maintain that philosophy by keeping our river trips uncrowded and intimate. We
ask that you leave the rat race behind and come with an attitude born from a
love of the outdoors, the water & river conservation. California whitewater
rivers are an incredible resource that continues to astound even the veteran
paddler. From the first melt of Spring to the final trickles in the late Fall,
the whitewater rivers in California give an overwhelming joy to those that
enjoy river rafting. We have been blessed over the years with guests who arrive
with big smiles and beautiful hearts. You, our paddling & kayaking friends,
our friends of the river, our guides & even our competitors are the reason
we have stayed in the whitewater rafting business since 1978.
There is still plenty of water in our
rivers on the South Fork American River and Middle Fork American River for the
rest of the 2005 California River Rafting Season. W.E.T. River Trips is
featuring special rafting discounts for families, teens, groups, active seniors
and Class 4 rafters. Reserve quickly before our entire season is sold out! Your
best bets are on Wacky Wednesday for family rafting discounts or our special
rafting discounts on Tuesday or Friday on the Middle Fork American Tunnel Chute
run. Some weekends are still available. Please call for availability or check
our website for our rafting calendars. Gift certificates for the 2006 season
are now available. Beat the Holiday Rush! Click raftwet.com or call toll free 1-888-RAFTWET for
more information.
